Sudden death for my friend's lurcher last night

Well, my best friend, the one who was diagnosed with breast cancer a week or so ago, came round this morning in pieces She gave the dogs their dinner last night as usual, and 5 minutes later, the 5 year old lurcher went a bit strange, stood there staring ahead, and tried to be sick. He then laid down, and was sick, very sick, he sicked up a great big fibrous, bloody, mass, and then it turned to neat blood he was vomiting, within 10 minutes he was dead! She did find time to ring her vet, but it all happened so quickly, by the time she got back to the poor dog he was gone The vet told her to push his eyes, just to make sure he had actually "gone", and was happy with the outcome she'd got. This dog had been happily playing with her other dog out in the garden in the afternoon, and had no physical signs of illness whatsoever, and only 5 years old. Apparently, the vet confirmed he had a stomach tumour, and that's what he had brought up as a big mass! Devastated is not the word!

Treasure every moment with your furry friends, you just don't know what's around that corner

Run free dear Tyler, although you went quickly and painfree, it was far, far too soon xxx
