Italian Greyhound? 1956

Any fans out there?

I am just watching 'Helen of Troy', 1956, it is the 'washed up on the sand scene' and a dog has appeared....is it an Italian Greyhound?

I love Italian greys but not seen the film so couldn't tell you,sorry !

I have an italian greyhound but couldn't tell you as I haven't seen the film. I would guess it could possibly be a greyhound. They were supposed to be around in ancient Eygpt and those sort of areas.

I've just put it intog oogle to find the origins of IG's and this is what I found so maybe it was an IG

That is a fab link, thanks. One of my best friends loves the IGs so I am sure she will appreciate the link even more, (I shall pass it on). The dog appeared in another scene as well, I am pretty sure it is an IG.
