My weirmaraner Jessie would love to sunbathe if she had the chance, but like the kids she's kept indoors out of the sun. I worry too much about heat stroke.

Mine are having trouble enough trying to stay cool, let alone go out there in this heat! We've got 34 deg. down South today and it's unbearable outside, like walking into a hot oven ...... roll on Autumn I say They've both got big furry coats on too which doesn't help their case

i would think it was too hot at the moment for any dog to sunbathe

I'm a cruel mum - I don't allow it. It would be just my luck to have poorly dogs after getting too much sun.

My dogs prefer to stay indoors in front of one of the fans or laid out on the cold tiles in the kitchen. Neighbours must think I permanently have bereavements as I keep the curtains and blinds closed when it is really sunny. I have full sun all day in my garden. Roll on winter!!!!
