Malamutes

Achh ...if ever there was a political minefield!! Alaskan malamutes seem to gee people up SO very much. I could wax lyrical about people who constantly criticise rescue and don't lift a finger to help at all. Or how about all the dogs that come through rescue that are bred by puppy farmers who won't do a thing to help new owners?

Ach ...is it worth it? ..what a complete waste of space these folks are.

I was about to state that I only know of one other Mamalute owner, and she was absolutely passionate about her breed. Then, I realised, you are indeed that same person. Now think back to a local site, you used to visit, where Graham was the site owner, but has now closed down.

Small world isn't it.

Yes, a shame. Good to see you're as passionate about your breed as ever.

Welcome to my world Mel. This sort of stuff happens all the time. If I had a penny for every nasty comment that was made, I'd be a millionaire.

If they were as passionate about rescue as you are about Mals, the rescue world would be a better place!

Ain't that the truth ...trouble is that a lot of the folks I mean ARE passionate about Mals but are so intent on spreading seeds of discontent , especially about certain aspects that it clouds everything else :\

There are a few malamute owners on here now..

there are lots of people who moan about rescue and don't help..and there are lots of people help and don't get the thanks they deserve
I have helped transport a dog twice.. AND ended up keeping her!!! so does that make me a failed helper??

I would assume there is the same thing in every breed..Shame really!

What thanks should you be given Louise? I always think that what little I do for rescue needs no thanks

There are several Mally owners on here yes I know...but I don't see why you are telling me that ...
