Dexter's nice too (but I love the TV series, so not sure that I could call my dog after a serial killer )

I love the names Turbo and Diesel for boys.
I must be a bit sadistic then as that is what I named my boy after! only the Dexter books though, not the TV show...TV show wasn't out then.

I love the name Darwin.

Another name came to me...Bert! if I ever got another dopey male Labrador, I think I would call it Bert. Bert the Beagle sounds great.

I do quite like Dudley. Hmmmn Sawyer? Stevie? I have a female named Scout, but it's most often used for a boy. Molson, after Canadian Beer? LOL (common here, but I dont think you'll find alot there) Chuck? (that was a weird pop in the head name! lol) but the name I'd probably call a male Beagle, If I ever had one is Fred, not original, I know, but I think it suits them!

I really love Bertie for the beagle to! Infact it is one of the names we can agree on, but sadly my aunt and uncle's retriever is called Bertie! Even though I don't really see them I don't want them to think I copied them!

Do you think it matters?? (I know I am very sad)

If you are worried about upsetting them why not ask them? They may well take it as a compliment and it seems a shame to miss out on a name you both agree on.

(I like the name but always associate it with Basset Hounds rather than beagles)
