Sorry about the delay,I didn't know this thread was here.

I have just had a little sleep,as I had been up and searching for nearly 25 hours.

The boys went missing on a walk at about 2pm yesterday, not sure what happened to be honest, one minute they were there one to my left about 20 yards away and one to my right about the same distance,I was just walking and looked round and they were both gone.
Neither were responding to the whistle or their name,I couldn't hear them, they just disappeared.

I continued to search until dark, then came home and put them on doglost and another forum.

I went back a couple of times last night, drove up and down the road that runs along side where we were.

Came home last night and made up some posters, went back this morning at 6.30am,put some posters around, went to some farms nearby, nothing.

Meanwhile, two other forums I am on were working like crazy ,one organised a search for 3.30pm this afternoon, and another had contacted the ranger for the place and it was he who eventually found them, about half a mile away, cuddled up fast asleep under a tree. They were found at about 3pm (I think).

Craven has a limp on his right front leg,and Flint was a bit stiff on his front legs when he got out of the car.

I am letting them sleep it off and I will look at them tomorrow.

I am so pleased that these dogs that have only known each other for just over 5 weeks stayed together.

Have replied on the other forum, but dont seem to be able to say enough how pleased I am. I think it is fantastic as you say that they stayed together and what a bond they have already, i know the heartache of the last day or so, but you must still be so pleased in your choice of Flint and pleased that at least they had each other.

Sleep tight and dont do this to your mum again!
