It looks like a showing cane to me(horsey stuff). I think the feeling is not to scare her off because otherwise it will go further downhill than it already is. She's obviously had some sort of 'expert' advice and maybe thinks she is doing the right thing. I want to rip her head off,will have to develop better people skills perhaps.

Well done on keeping yourself in one piece instead of several shredded ones,LG. It has been lovely today and don't blame you wanting to get out in it and get stuff sorted before the winter sets in. Hoping we get a mild dry winter this year to be honest

People skills Yes, she's picked up something from some so called 'expert' and mis-applied it, still for the dogs sake better try to gently talk her around if you can.

Has been a very nice day here but nights are getting chilly, will soon have to put the mouse traps out.
