Must tell you about Monday morning. Was cleaning the bedroom window ledge looked out across the flat roof (kitchen extension) and there was a dead rat. There is a lot of overgrown honeysuckle from Paul and Beth's side again it creeps along our roof and not sure whether it was exiting or making an entrance into the undergrowth. Thought maybe I would leave it to Mark it's a bit difficult getting on to the roof from the window and rats alive or dead give me the eebie jeebies.
It was already warming up though and an odd fly or two were hanging around. So off I went got two black bin bags and a big bamboo cane and out onto the roof and double bagged it brought it downstairs and down the garden into the bin. I was very prod of myself I can tell you.
Gorden will be on the roof clearing the overgrowth this weekend.
Still not got my car back long story with that do have the garage car still and I have a feeling I will not be getting that Peugeot back again. The poor man has tried everything still not satisfied with it well wasn't last Saturday. Wanted to try a couple more things but as of yet no news as to how they went.

Post mortem results through, Addisons. Specialist told her it had struck so fast it was highly unlikely they could have saved her unless in the first hour, and at the beginning her vets and the vets at Newmarket were thinking slug pellets (which was my thought) or anti freeze, neither of which the dog had access to, but there are some low lifes that would do that, but she couldn't think how they could have managed it without being seen by her. So that is whats happened, we have both had a good cry together on the phone, and you know I would have let Lona go to let this poor little baby have her life, she wasn't even two. Lona has had a good life, a happy life, done everything, won all sorts and been my rock, but it seems so unfair that this poor baby was at the beginning and has gone

Lynn, forgot to say well done on the rat, you can tell Autumn is on its way, they're all wanting to find a cosy warm place indoors. One of my friends found her 3 dogs with a massive rat a couple of weeks ago, it was very dead by then. She lives at the back of a railway line and they come up from there. Railway isn't as hot as it was on putting traps down for them or clearing the undergrowth back, consequently her garden has been invaded by Himalayan Basalm and these creatures.
No bone run yesterday, its tomorrow this week.
Gave the guy down the road a couple of big bones for his dog, I saw him on the way back with Mabs and Kesh. He said to me, Oh by the way, the missus tells me you've been having problems with the guy at the back of you. Tell me next time and I'll be going and having a word with him, he's nothing but a bully

I can imagine the rat was very deaded June by the time the dogs had finished with it.
We usually know when they are about in the garden or in Paul and Beth's garden because Dillon spends a lot of time especially night time running up and down along the fence line.
None of that going on so hopefully it was a lone one funny thing both Gorden and I heard a funny noise in the early hours but didn't take much notice of it. Didn't inspect to closely but it didn't look like it had been attacked.

Maybe it ate some bait perhaps Lynn. Hoping it was a one off.
