Twitching toes?

I've just come back from a walk in the park with Ripley.
There are a couple of icy puddles dotted around but mostly just muddy like usual.

We've been in about 10 minutes now and she cant seem to get comfy - she keeps leaping up after laying down and keeps sniffing/mouthing her feet.
When she lays her down and leaves her feet alone, her toes are twitching.

I've given her a good check over and there are no little cuts or anything stuck in her paws that I can see.
Are they sensitive because of the ice or something else?

Hi Erin had something been put on the paths for the ice , salt maybe.
If you think that might be the case I would get a bowl and rinse Ripley's feet in warm (not hot) water...

Twitching could be a sign of something nerve related too - did she bang or knock into anything? I'd try Mini's warm water idea too to see if it settles..

A nice paw bath (plus 5 minutes of flying around coz she hates wet feet....) and she seems to feel a lot better now.
May have to invest in some paw wax or booties for the future!

Thanks both
