Little difference to me, handing a dog over to someone who simply shoves a piece of paper under your nose
I would put up one hell of a fight if they tried to do that to one of mine! There would be no way I would have just handed the dog over after being shown a bit of paper!

Exactly my point

And if I had employed a dog walker to walk my dogs and thye handed him /her over, I would make sure said dog walker never walked again ...

Especialy to what is essentialy a bunch of people in suits. Surely they should have had police presence (in uniform) and a warrant to seize the animal. And I wouldnt let them take it without telling the person that employed me to look after their dog and giving them a chance to get to where it was and talk to the detectives in person.

the dog probably wouldnt of even gone to them, they had only just picked it up from the breeders so it didnt even know who they were.

I thought the whole programme was hilarious!

The very very silly sign-written ambulance
The daft man crawling around in a field and then falling over the fence
The dog (who was lovely) trained to track other dogs ... at high speed and rather randomly by the looks of it
The dog expert identifying dog poo in the field
The kidnap of the Labrador That was absolutely shocking! I would seriously thump someone who tried to walk off with my dog.
The dictaphone recording of the owner calling her cat and rattling his dish Then the various members of the "search team" walking around the local housing estate playing the recording.

It was all a complete farce I can't believe anyone would employ any of these numpties in their search for a lost animal.

Neither would I nor would I suggest anyone would be.

One of the reasons I have issues with those who set themselves up in any canine profession without the requisite skills, Knowledge, ability, training and experience!
