teeth and gums

I would like to know a bit more about how to keep your dogs teeth and gums cleen and fresh, there seems so much stuff on the market, chews, special treats, toothpaste and even this stuff that looks like mouthwash, isnt cheap tho. could somone please let me know cheers. I would have put some smiles on this topic but am having trouble.

I use logic on Star's teeth. I rub it into her teeth and gums a few times a week. It is like a toothpaste/gel

i just give indie rawhide chews. am thinkin bout gettin toothpaste to brush her teeth tho as i wud like to be able to train her to have her mouth messed with

I'm the same as you Louie, I use Logic Gel but on a toothbrush.........they normally eat it before I've given the a good scrub ...........lol.

Thanks for that guys. I will see if scampers do logic. I take it any toothbrush will do as i have seen them on the vets shelf i dread to think how much they cost?

If you use a toothbrush for humans go for babies or childrens toothbrushes that have smaller heads and softer bristles. That is what I use and it works just fine. Make sure you don't use toothpaste for humans though
