yeh, it'll be good for u to get some experience working with animals. If u dont wanna work at a vets, then you could always get some experience in kennels or something it always looks good on ur cv to have somethin relevant to back u up!

u can sign up as a volunteer for the rspca if u go to their site also.

Mine was terrible! It was a YOP scheme and I had to be the receptionist to a one man business and it was meant to be a great job with all sorts of opportunities for develoment. Unfortunately, I had to deal with his irate customers on the phone complaining all day. Worse than that, he used to come round my desk and put his arm round me etc - yuck :smt088 I eventually moved the desk into an alcove in the office; I had to practically climb over it to get to my seat, but at least he couldn't get at me! Fortunately, I wasn't there long; he sacked me for taking a day off on a public holiday! I got my revenge though; I told the Job Centre exactly what it had been like so they said they wouldn't send him any Yoppers in future :smt044

My very very first jobs were cleaning the hens out (40) collecting the eggs, washing them all and putting them in boxes ready for the man from the EMB to collect. I was about 7 and earned 2 shillings (10p)
