Gosh Jackie how sad is that they dumped them on you like this without asking its a good job your as kind as you are, most people wouldnt have took them in. I dont really like rats but these are pet ones so dont deserve to be dumped.
Will you be keeping them or just looking after them until a home is found?
Jackie you could start to charge people to come and visit your animals
I would want to know who dumped them too, its so cheeky really they must of known you love animals so wouldnt turn them down
I think your too nice Jackie

but we will find them both a good home
they are really sweet one is black and white and the other beige and white

Im sure you will find them a good home and they werent your responsiblity to take on so your good enough to look after them.
They could possibly of been an unwanted litter if they are young and the owner couldnt handle so many? no excuse though.
Btw did you get my e-mail if you didnt im going to kill my computer lol hope it worked this time

If you want to offer them a good home - you could do worse than the rescue and rehoming section of www.fancy-rats.co.uk there are always people willing to help out.
Noble thing you did taking them in. Glad they've found someone who cares.

xx

Don't be too hard on whoever dumped them Jackie, I think they did the right thing considering you are so great with so many animals. Especially when you think of what they could have done

Anyway, well done for giving them a temp home and I know you will be excellent with them. I love rats, but OH won't have them.

Have you thought of setting up a charity Jackie? it sounds as if word is getting around locally that you care for different animals and this could lead onto a lot more being 'dumped'. Just a thought...

Rats
Better change that website of yours to JackieŽs animal shelter

Good for you you took them in but IŽm thinking if the word gets around youŽll soon find all sort of animals left on your doorstep
Ppl are weird, cruel and thoughtless

well the mystery has just been solved
one of the football coaches has called,he found the rats in a cage in the middle of the road
he says he called but got no answer so left them on my doorstep as he knew i would take good care of them
but i answered the door straight away so he must have left them there and run

Well - good luck with rehoming them/keeping them - if you do rehome them - there's a fabulous rescue in Manchester - and there's a few others dotted around too - pm. me if you want to know more - as I can't think of any off the top of my head lol!
