Thanks Bitkin xx

Well she had the op this morning, it was a bit harder than they thought, but after xrays before the op they realised she had indeed cracked a tooth, but the bit she had cracked off was wedged inbetween 2 teeth & had started rotting. The infection had travelled up the roots of both teeth destroying them too, so shes had the teeth & the roots removed leaving a huge hole at the back of her mouth

I picked her up at 5:30 tonight, poor girly is in alot of pain & discomfort, pacing the floor & crying. I've just given her a couple of tablespoons of wet food (chappie , she loves the stuff but only gets on special occasions or she turns into a right bloater ) The vet said little & often to begin with.

I've just given her some metacam & anti-b's, shes been out for a wee & am about to go get me jarmies on & settle on the settee with her for the night I reckon.

I have to take her back next Monday for an xray to make sure that they got every shard of tooth out.

Shes asleep at my feet now on a duvet, hopefully the painkillers will have kicked in a bit.

Thankyou for all the thoughts & hugs guys xxx

Oh poor thing, and I feel for you too because it's awful when they are in pain isn't it. Still, the Metacam and Abs should do their stuff tonight, and hopefully she will feel heaps better in the morning. With luck she will sleep soundly most of the evening and night anyway because of the anaesthetic.

Cuddles for both Ruby and you.

Aww, Poor Ruby, but I bet by the morning she will feel a hell of a lot of relief.

Hope you don't get too stressful a night with her.

Big Hugs from Me, Molly & Mindy x x

The metacam wore off around 2am, she has been crying/pacing ever since..Both the OH & me are shattered. I was up from 2 & he was up from 4:15am. Poor girl is so uncomfy.

Poor You All. Any pain in your head is the worst possible, isn't it? You cannot detach from it at all. Its somehow different than a sore finger or something.

Really hope it begins to ease throughout the day.

Keep warm and cosy x
