..and now a poorly Ruby

Dear dear it all comes at once doesnt it!

Got up this morning, Ruby looks like elephant woman again, bless her cottons
She has a chipped tooth & had alot of swelling & a trip to the vet last week for Anti-b's while I was on holidays.
Got on phone to vet this morning, took her straight along , they wanted to operate today but as the lump on her face & inside her mouth is so big they couldnt risk it as its affecting her breathing.
Shes now on Anti-b's, painkillers & booked in for op on Monday morning. Just have to keep a close eye on her and call them if it gets to the point where shes struggling





It doesnt rain but it pours!!

Aw I bet that's sore poor little Ruby , I hope she is better soon.

If the area feels hot I would gently apply a cloth wrung out in cold water.

Oh poor little Ruby, that looks really awful, I hope she gets it sorted at the vets by Monday, and you're right, it never rains but it pours, you can now join the Club with Bev 1 and me!! At least you got her to the vets and he's put her out of pain until Monday, and that's about all you can do for now isn't it. So sorry, sending some ((((hugs)))) your way.xxxx

Thanks Mrs B, she is feeling so sorry for herself, I just wanted to stay at home from work today & cuddle her & Khal to bits..but alas I'm just getting updates from the OH instead. At least theres either me or him there everyday until Tuesday so not too bad. Am still trying to figure out a way to get these anti-b's into her...theyre huuuugeeee! xxx

It really is irritating her, not helping that shes constantly trying to paw at it when shes lying down Thanks Lisa xx
