Like it! It reminds me of the first winter I had Chloe and M'boi who were only 6 months at the time. We had 3 feet of snow on the drive and only a narrow path to exercise them. One morning I took them out for a walk along the path but they both had other ideas ... M'boi clambered on top of the snow and after managing to walk a metre got stuck up to her tummy and I had to dig her out. Chloe decided to burrow her way under the snow which collapsed on top of her leaving only the tip of her tails showing ... after that I made sure when I took them out they always wore their leads!

Thank goodness we don't get anything like that here most years Barbara My Chloe doesn't like snow, it turns into balls in her feathering and weighs her down...

Thank you for the afternoon chuckle! Sophie is the one who used to pull me into the drifts, she can leap maybe four feet up from standing, I'm the one who gets stuck. My favorite is watching a few of our braver cats trying to be manly while all but sinking over their heads.

cats are often far more sensible that dogs and don't like getting paws cold ...
