Crossbreed and Mongrel Shows

The new season of crossbreed shows has started, there are quite a few dates in the diary so far. They are really good days out with most classes being for crossbreeds and mongrels (there are a few pedigree classes, got to let them take part too ) link below.

They're worth a look if there are any near you.

There is usually a great atmosphere and the chance to show your cross in a conformation show as opposed to being limited to 'prettiest bitch' or 'scruffiest dog'

Most of the heats that are put on are driven by members asking already arranged Companion or Fun shows if they are willing to add four classes to their shows for a heat.

If you are interested in having a heat near you maybe you can approach the organisers of a show and ask them?

If they are, you could then contact the Crossbreed Club to find out what to do to drive it forward.

This is what has happened locally and we now have quite a few due to having active members who are very proactive.

I notice that there are now a couple in Cheshire that are relatively new to the list.

The Grand Final in September is a camping weekend to make it easier for people who have to travel to attend. This Show and the first of the year in Tattershall are the only ones actually organised by the Club.
