Has anyone ever witnessed an attack towards a teacher - be it from a pupil or parent etc? Even a verbal threat ?

I need some case studies for this damn project

When I was in 1st year a boy in my class was giving the teacher cheek and the teacher threw a chair at the boy in a fit of rage - the boy had been a little **** all year you know the type gobby. Everybody was immediatley told to leave the class and the teacher was suspended the boy pressed charges (even though he was well known to cause trouble). I left the school shortly after that but I believe the teacher was re-instated I dont know much else about what happened but if you want names etc I can give you them via PM and you may be able to check through old records to see what happened.

Also when I was in 1st year a different boy in my class was pinging rubber bands at the French Teacher and one hit her in the eye....I dont know if they are of any use to you lol.

I know the feeling Mini
I've met up with a few headteachers recently and they all look blankly when you mention statistics and policies as though to say what are they
The best info ive recieved so far is from the LEA in Cornwall- round by us seems to be dismal
