Firewall or Anti Virus?

Im gonna sound really stupid here but if ive got firewalls on my laptop do i still need to have anti virus cause my norton trial has just run out and im not sure if i need to go and buy one

Download AVG or Avast which is free. It's worth having both firewall and anti virus, and personal opinion, is that Norton couldnt find it's own Name let alone a virus !! lol

You need both im afraid.

The firewall stops attacks being made by outside sources on your pc.

The antivius software stops viruses getting onto your pc.

Try this free antivirus software from AVG.

and try this free firewall from Zone alarm.
