Talk to me about indestructible toys...

Well it turns out I have a bit of a toy destroyer on my hands

Thai is a little (well a lot, but we are working on that) obsessed with toys due to not having any for the first 3 years of his life. Any toys, but particularly balls...But he manages to destroy any that he is given

So far we have been through,
1 x Kong wubba 1 x rubber ball on a rope
1 x fabric squeaky duck
3 x tug ropes (fleece and rope)
2 x kong tennis balls
1 x football

So if anyone can suggest some good toys that actually last longer than a week that would be great

So far I have these saved to give a try:

So yeah, any other ideas will be gratefully received

Here is a pic of the monster in question

Ohhhh look at that face!!

I got a couple of these from B&M, and they (as you can see) are a big hit

My two aren't massively destructive, but they've had them a couple of months now and the only damage is a couple of frayed bits.
I don't suppose the handle would last long but the rest of it might be worth a try - only cost a quid either way haha!

Thai is so beautiful - absolutely gorgeous.

My staffie is absolutely obsessed with his boomer ball as long as I have his boomer ball in my bag when we're out I know I have his attention.

I can't allow him to play with it in the house though because he charges around chasing it like a dog possessed and smashes into things because they're made of extremely solid plastic, but a brittle sort of plastic - hard to explain really, but it makes helluva noise when it hits tiles etc..

The behaviourist explained his obsession (as far as I can remember) because he's a process dog - so in a hunt he loves the chase and the kill but then loses interest - so the boomer ball can't be "killed" because he can't get his teeth around it. Makes sense to me and him too!

If you want something virtually indestructible that he can get his teeth into get a Jolly ball.

George, my GSD has had both his for 3 years. One with a handle and the other with a rope through.

They are actually horse balls

I love this video

Here's the full range. The teaser is disappointing because it's hard and cracks quite easily.

I took Taffy's new Boomer ball out yesterday & Today. Verdict - Not a bit interested. I threw it to him he tried to pick it up - found he couldnt so wasnt interested. No amount of dribbling it to him got his attention. I tried it with one of his BC friends as well - same result.
That was money well spent then

He's never been one for playing with toys by himself though
