Freddy – 8 week old male Old English Sheepdog cross..

Freddy is a wonderful, playful 8 week old black and white Old English Sheep Dog cross Bermeese dog. Unfortunately poor Freddy’s mum was found as a stray and dug under a ladies shed in order to have her babies, where a dedicated team of rescue volunteers managed to rescue them. Freddy has not been effected by the ordeal at all and is a perfectly happy playful pup along with his sister, but poor mum is very timid and her new foster carer is working very hard in order to help mum Fern to get over her ordeal of being mistreated and abused although she has been an excellent mum to her two babes.

Freddy is happy, lively and full of beans. He plays well with his sister Daisy and is ready for his new forever home. Freddy is crate trained and sleeps well at night. He travels well in a car. Please be aware that this dog is going to be a big breed dog and someone with experience and knowledge in these breeds would be advantageous.

We are looking for a home where someone will be about for most of the day as Freddy is still very young. We strongly recommend that Freddy be taken to puppy socialisation/training classes to get the most out of him. Please read up on his breeds to know what you are taking on. A home with lots of room would be ideal.


Freddy is being fostered in Waltham Abbey, Essex, near J26 of M25. We are looking to re-home him in or around this area or neighbouring counties as a home check will be done. Freddy is vaccinated and wormed, but will need to be neutered and micro-chipped as part of the adoption agreement when he is old enough and proof of this will need to be shown.

Do you know if the dog (adult) in the picture is the fosterers dog ? Or possibly the puppies parent ?

Its just that it looks like a Bernese cross too.

I think the rescue are just guessing at what they are ..

I see no Bernese in those puppies.

They don't even look like litter mates!

OES in there somewhere, maybe Beardie?
