Hi maci-may and welcome,
I currently have a 2 1/2 year old boxer,
he never got on with dry kibble so converted over to raw feeding and he has never been better
If it's dry food you want there's a few hypo allergenic brands.

Hi there and welcome I feed Burns Holistic which is a very good dry complete food and contains no additives or irritants only pure ingredients and is not tested on animals..link below,

http://www.burns-pet-nutrition.co.uk/

If you contact Burns then they will send samples. I feed venison and brown rice and Kelties but there are other varieties. They will deliver or tell you the nearest stockist. Fish body oils (not liver oil) can help too...you can get it from the health food shop.

Autarky is very good and very reasonably priced.
I fed it before I fed raw and would def use again.

My Boxer scratches his ears and makes them bleed same with chin,
It's more that he can't scratch softly and just goes hell for leather.
He has always done this
He knows to stop when he hears the word 'enough'

We've not had problems but I'll agree with Mini on the Burns food. My staffie is black brindle and her coat shines like silk. Staffy's staffy ( ) Jaspar also looks good on it - find some pics of him and my Dinah in the Pictures section.
Burns have got a website you can ask for advice too - might be a good idea. Can't remember the address but if you google Burns dog food I'm sure you'll find it.

I would try Burns too. They have a message board that you can post on or just phone or email them.

Even the vet commented on the good condition of Star yesterday.
