is it a cooked one or a raw one Katy? Raw ones are better as they dont break so easily.
Mine love them and stay quiet for ages. They are supposed to strengthen the jaw too and the marrow inside (if its raw) is good for them- although some dogs do get the squits after having one (mine dont up to now)

We give ours knuckle bones as they are far too big for a Staffie to swallow but they are certainly built to last so we sometimes don't hear a squeak out of either of them for about half an hour. Best to get tehm from the butchers, we pay 50p for two, and just give them to them raw. At the end of the day throw it away to avoid it gathering too much bacteria. They are excellent for cleaning your dogs teeth and may just give you some time to do the ironing!!!!!
