Im sure it is to someone who know's things about AI but i dont the only case i heard of AI was a dog that was very much alive and just wouldn't tie with a bitch, so it threw me that was all.

And the only case I have heard of is from frozen semen..

Usually you only hear of it if the dog and bitch are really really far away (as in not in the same country) or are already deceased..

I have heard of it on quite a few RR websites and it sounds great especially if it brings in new genes from other countries.
