I met a very interesting dog this morning!

I went to our corner shop and met a lady stood outside with a very handsome dog.
He was quite large but obviously still a pup.
I think I upset the owner when I asked what cross he was
She told me he was a full Collie.
Riiiighttt!
This doggie was solid black, other than tan at the side of his muzzle, his eyebrows, feet and chest. He had the build and face perhaps of a Collie.
Guess what I was expecting to hear
Still can't believe it

I certainly wasn't expecting to hear that he was a full Collie.
I love the sound of a Cottweiller

I was thinking Huntaway or Hovawart perhaps? I have a very large collie, but he does look like a collie, just a very big one

Im giggling here, we met a guy over Sutton park the other week solid black longed haired dog about GSD size....infact I'd of sworn it was a longhaired black GSD

anyway he asked us what breed ours were....so we said Border Collies, then we went through the usual ''are they related etc.,'' Pat said ''like your GSD'' to which he replied........Oh he isn't a GSD he's a proper collie

so that told us
