I was just watching the update on Sky News
When the officers got there, the dog was still attacking the woman and they had to use shields to get it cornered away from her before they could shoot it. Poor, poor woman, she was well liked, always happy, they interviewed the guy in the local shop who knew her well. Still can't find the owner, he's done a runner wonder why! Then the Dog's Trust woman said people should think about getting the RIGHT dog for their circumstances! A dog like this would not be happy being housebound and not taken on long walks, so it was probably more than frustrated. The neighbour said he had had to phone the police and council on numerous occasions coz the dog was trying to get over the fence and he worried for his family and kids, not surprising!
