What I found sad was, the fact so many babies/children died of dehydration from dysentry etc and it wasn't until the 1960's that they realised that by giving salt/sugar in water prevented death from dehydration.
Fantastic programme - well worth a watch on a Sunday night.

I love it!

I was only talking to my Mum about the 1906 Casualty that was on a couple of years ago, a couple of days before - I didn't even know Cas 1907 was going to be on, and I looked in the TV magazine on the Sunday day, and saw it was on!
