Have done ours three times already! Only problem with leaving it, seems to be the fact that the grass never dries out well enough to give it a decent cut. could you perhaps give it a "long" cut then when it dries do it again ?

I generally persuade a friend to mow my lawn for me, as I cannot manage the mower any more

But I did notice, despite this lovely weather, my lawn is also soaking! (it's not even long either!)

I haven't got a lawn anymore, I covered the garden in decking and big borders as the lawn was always waterlogged due to run off from the park. I've been yanking up ivy all morinig and my borders are as dry as a bone.

Hubby has been mowing ours all winter it just hasn't stopped growing

If you have a rotary mower it apparently makes cutting wet grass easier.

I cut mine at the weekend, surprised others lawns are wet, I'm up in Scotland and the grass has been very dry.
