Retrieving Maniac (Small Munsterlander)

We took Bodica down to Bidford-upon-Avon on the Warks/Worcs border today. Although overcast was a nice afternoon which allowed Bodie to do two of her favourite activities - Swimming and retrieving.

She is on the long line as imo, this river isnt the safest at this particular point. Even though Bodie is a strong swimmer, the currents/flow can be strong and there are narrow boats passing on a relatively frequent basis.

Nice pics !! I've never seen a small musterlander before, she's a lovely looking dog !

Whats the height difference between a small and large musterlander ?

PS It's great to see another gundog person on here !

Thanks Willow

Height difference (according to standards!):

Kl Munsters: Dogs - 52-56cm Bitches - 50-54cm

Gr Munsters: Dogs - 60-65cm Bitches - 58-63cm

In reality there is prob about 2-3inches in the height

Weight kl munsters are about 20-27kg, Gr munsters are about 27-35kg

If anyone wants to see a sm munster, there should be 9 dogs at the CLA fair next month over the 3 days, so pop into the gundog pavillion and say hi!

I intended on going this year, I had a blast the last time the CLA was down this way. I think I'll have to swing by the gundog pavillion and check em out !
