A little cutie.

I saw this little'un walking the dogs yesterday, I took the pictures through a fence, and took a few of the mothers and babies, but before I sort them out, I had to share this, I did resolve myself to not naming any this year, but then I noticed that the end number on this one is 180, so anyone got any good darts names .

Thats cute, and oi, not in front of the baby! , have to say though I think that 'my' boys from last year might still be alive, I wasn't expecting that! but the ones I think that they are, are the other side of the river, so I can't be sure.

I must say, there's nothing cuter than a Hereford calf! My grandparents raised Registered Herefords.... I adored them. but never named any, cuz I knew most of them would be on a plate someday.

But we did name the bulls. there was one (Midas) that was very friendly, and in his off-season, he'd come to the Bull pen fence for a treat and a pat. It's a pretty heady feeling to scratch a bull behind the ears when you're 10 years old!! He even tolerated the dogs.

I'm not sure whether most of the ones I've named are on a plate, I'm sure I saw one of them, but then it was the other side of the river, and Herefords look quite simalar lol, but I named a few young bulls, the big guy, Harry the Hereford, and what seemed like his fav girl Sally lol.
