Kelly, Small Rottie Cross, DOB 03.09 – Chessington

Kelly, Small Rottie Cross, DOB 03.09 – Chessington

Homing requirements: Kelly needs to live with at least one other dog. She needs introduction to children over time but not live in children. She needs further socialisation outside.

Video: Susie with Kelly enjoying the moment

Her Story: Kelly came into kennels for a supposed 2 month spell with her 'mother' reference a dispute with neighbours. Her father a Rottie remains with the owners. Her owners could not take them back and we have agreed to find them new homes. We have spayed and chipped both; they were already were fully vax'd. Kennelled in Chessington.

Advert: Kelly presents as a very small Rottie. She has not had full exposure to life, "hiding" behind her parents. She needs a kind, caring and patient home, to engender her with skills and confidence. Kelly is nervous of new people but when you sit and call her she finds the courage and suddenly she is there placing her paw in your hand and retains the connection in a submissive gesture of the dearest nature. Kelly is more comfortable in dogs companionship than new people. We have yet to walk her in public but she will initially need to be alongside a confident dog. A foster place would help her greatly.

Kelly is now 3 years old. She is black and tan mimicking her Rottie father's colouring but is even slighter than her mother at about 17-18" to the shoulder. What a beautiful sensitive face she has, she soon trusts but needs coaxing and taking at a gentle pace that she feels in control of. Sweet little girl seeking a doggie home.

If you are interested in re-homing please complete our homing questionnaire so we can ensure our dogs are matched and will suit your circumstances/lifestyle.

***PLEASE NOTE: We are a rescue finding dogs their forever homes. We usually ask for a minimum donation of £150 at the time of adoption, for each dog, to help us continue helping homeless dogs***.

Met the girls yesterday for the first time and oh what a joy. For some reason I thought they were bigger than they were, but they are only small lean collie size! What a beautiful package they make and so, so pretty. Anyone considering homing them just has to meet them in the fur to see just how lovely they are ...

Indeed they do. Will be at the kennels again this weekend and hope to get some better shots of them individually. Hope to capture their beauty. Keep watching this space.

I was going to split the photos up appropriately for their separate threads, but you know what ... I have decided to post all of them on both threads because these girls come as a ready made package! You will see how beautifully bonded they are. In fact when we took their photographs two weeks ago we didn't really capture them well individually because one was always on the lookout and wanted to be with the other! This time we think we have ... feast your eyes, two normal, easy going dogs that love each other, want to be together and please you too!

Kelly...

Susie...

Who has room for two collie size loveable bundles of fun?!
