Dogsey Daily Thread; Monday

Well, another day...

Good morning all...

Off to the bright lights of Killarney in an hour or so to replace the printer and do my shopping.

Calm and cold today and Sum Sum is still out on the razzle or wherever he goes. I know; he is not mine and as long as he is safe and fed that is my work. But I miss him.

Hope Monday is a good one for all of you.

Morning Rosebud and everyone

Lots of overnight rain, and now it's cold, almost got a frost outside which would have been good if it was dry, so another wet, soggy walk is on the cards this morning.

Got the dentist this morning at 11, Dave's going to do a bit more in the bathroom (yawn) - he hasn't gone back to work as he's got his specialist appointment tonight at the hospital which we've waited 7 months for about his neck! He's also got a migraine, so I've told him he should just go back to bed and he probably will in a minute.

Had a result with my neighbour yesterday about the fencing. I gave her the options, and we've decided to get the whole lot done and go halves, which means a huge relief to us and our pockets. Don't know why I'm so pleased about it really cos it's her blinkin fence, she should pay for it all, but such is life, at least it's going to be fixed and Zena will be safe from their visiting staffie all summer long.

Getting darker and darker here instead of lighter

Enjoy your day out today Rosebud, the animals will all miss you, so hurry back

Sally, sounds like you had a fun time with g/sproglet yesterday there, let's hope he's going to be alright along with your sofa with the smell, yuk! The neighbour told me yesterday, that her daughter's staffie arrived the other day and chucked up twice on her lounge carpet, then went into the hall and did the same there and she can't get the smell out, so if you have any tips, I'll pass them on.

Lynn, hope Gorden's cold is better and he's gone off to work.

Hope everyone else is ok along with the doglets and I'll pop in later.

ETA:Can't see any new posts again this morning, still getting that message up,
and when I went into control panel after having posted this, it's not there, so looks like I won't be seeing any new posts again

Morning Rose, Helena and Em.
Have a safe journey to Killarney rose and a productive one.
Good luck to Dave tonight Helena and I hope his migraine goes do you think he is stressed about tonight so set off migraine ?
Gorden is feeling ok but his cold is full blown (excuse the pun).
I would think your neighbours are pretty chuffed you are paying half of the erection of their new fence. Still if it gives you peace of mind I suppose its worth it.
Poor Jenny has messaged me she is still having problems getting on today I am seem to be ok today.
Wet here too not raining here now but it did last night. Hoping to get these nuts today for my car and get it back with new brakes. We shall b ring it home if we can't get the nuts and do what Dave suggested drive it on 4 till we can get some in the week.

Morning everyone. Nice sunny one here after a dirty windy night.

Rosebud safe trip to Killarney.

Lynn sorry Gorden's cold is full blown now poor man. Hope you get the wheel nuts you need.

EmmiS ouch my daughters horse did that to me and I have suffered arthritis in it ever since. Take care.

Helena, glad you came to an arrangement with your neighbour shame you have to pay half but better to have the knowledge that the fences are safe. Good luck for poor Dave tonight and I hope his migraine soon goes.

Jenny
sorry you are having trouble getting in.

Have a good day everybody. God bless.

Nippy Jen Hi you posted whilst I was typing have a good day.

The good news is that Da Booga did not have another seizure during the night .

The not so good news is that [a] I could not get to sleep and [b] when I did drop off I kept waking to make sure she was OK.

[a] was because I had forgotten to take both my evening and nightime meds, and

[b] was because she moves a bit in her sleep and I am on high seizure-watch at the moment.

Helena - while you are at the dentist will you please ask him to come and sort out my gnashers! I hope Daves hospital appointment can find the cause of his neck problems and sort them, also that his migraine goes pdq.

Emma - your poor foot. I have never been close enough to a horse to be stamped on but I well remember how painful it was when an old-fashioned heavy bakelite telephone once landed on my big toe [I ended up in A&E having a hot something drilling a hole in my toenail to release the blood from the resulting bruise which had had me screaming in agony], plus the large white cabbage which threw itself out of my fridge, landing on my foot and breaking two metatarsals, so ouch for you. Especially with the Marathon coming up.

Everyone else - I hope all poorlies are feeling better today, and whatever you are doing, enjoy it!

Morning

Oh Helena, I'm glad you are getting the fence sorted but you shouldn't have to pay. I remember when our neighbours' house went up for sale, the estate agent made note of the fenced/enclosed garden. I was annoyed because it was our fence, which we paid for and Steve erected and painted. So we rang them to tell them it was not their fence.

We cycled to school this morning and I got complaints all the way about aching legs. Kids!

We have a Holy Communion meeting this evening and I am still not sure where to get a dress from.

Loki has chewed his front paw so badly he is limping. It's all raw inbetween his toes so we had to put loads of antiseptic cream on. It seems to have become a habit, this chewing.

Have a lovely day everyone.
