Morning Vicki, No I haven't just got up.

I got a phone call at 4am this morning telling me that there had been a power cut on a site I'm supervising in the centre of London and it had knocked out the security system. So up I get and drive all the way in, which I must admit was a really nice drive as there was not a soul on the roads.

Well when I get there I bump into another sparks who had been there since 3.30am who had been trying to find the fault but had not succeeded. Anyway to cut along story short he had not bothered to look at the main site breaker which had popped, so with a flick of a finger all the power was restored.

Anyway I decided to stay up there until the site manager arrived, gave him the biggest boll**king he's had for a while and told hi to employ electricians who know there way around a building site and then went and had the biggest fry up I seen in a long while. Plus Michelle's really pi55ed off as she had to get up at 6 to take the dogs out.

So all in all not a great end to the year, but at least it's another £300.00 in my back pocket.

I really hope you get your half day off.

I got a lie in this morning, which was lovely.

Doing NOTHING today, if i can help it, i'm back to work on Weds so got to make the most of it.

i am popping out for a soft drink tonite for a hour with some friends
i do not celebrate New Years since losing my dad as it just makes it another year he is not here

but am gonna break the chain tonite and pop and see some mates

hubby is off to his parents with the kids
