Yaay - Our First, First!!!

Took Marius to Cumberland CA Open Show in Carlisle today where we were entered for Junior.

It was Jo Ellis of Falkor Rotts judging - in the catalogue there were four in Junior but there were two more dogs in the ring (late entries too late to go in catalogue! Confused the hell out of me as when I saw their ringcards thought I'd gone in wrong class lol )

Marius was very well behaved, tail never stopped wagging bless him. The judge even commented on what a happy boy he was

In amongst the dogs in the ring were the ones who beat him at the last open show to third, so I thought same would happen today and we'd be lucky to get a place to be honest.

To my utter amazement she pulled him out first. I was
overjoyed, our first, 1st!!

We got beaten for BOB and RBOB - to two lovely dogs, but I didn't care as he still showed his heart out and I was so proud of him. Can't wait to read the critique in the doggie-press, it really made my day (especially as this week has not been a happy one for me)

Really delighted for you and Marius Anne-Marie.

Obviously a judge who knew her rotties,

Marius is stiill only a Baby so plenty of time for BOB and RBOB.

Thanks everyone, yes I was absolutely delighted

It was his third show and so far have got two thirds and a first. I know we can't keep on getting placed but am enjoying the ride for now lol
