Ahh what lovely photos, you must be very proud. Is the pony hers, or her favourite where she rides?

It's hers.. we have it on loan for 3 months then we part with our hard earned!!!

We decided about 3 wks in that we were keeping her so its just the formalities to deal with now.

Oh no... we have been on that slope for the last few years.. just surprised we have managed to put it off for this long..

She is doing rather well.. she is 6 years old and has mastered her rising trot, sitting trot, she trots over poles and wants to jump next.. pity I ain't brave enough to let her YET!

Hehe tink is lovely and your daughter looks great on her!

My OH used to show horses and he was doing allsorts at 6 and 7 years old. I would have had a heart attack though the fences he was jumping were bigger than him hehe
Think ill stick to nice soft sports!

Becky has just started riding at 7. She has had 5 lessons and is doing the rising trot with alternating hands. She seems to have natural rhythm and just moves with the pony. She absolutely adores it and rides a lovely pony called Phoebe.

Caitlin started a week after her 6th birthday (so October) and has been having lessons since then.. She started off on Pippin, then progressed onto Pixie.. and is now riding Topsy who can be a bit of a git but she can handle her..

She also rides friends horses (who are a bit old and past it but can still throw in a buck or two when the feeling takes her) who are on the same yard as us and there is a youngster who is nearing backing and CJ is the lightest candidate and has volunteered herself to help!!!
