Recipe wanted for use with a loaf tin

Anyone got any ideas of what I can bake in my loaf tin?

I only have a recipe for banana loaf and tea loaf and fancied something different, perhaps with dried fruit (sultana loaf?) or chocolate/cocoa powder? Or anything that results in a nice moist cake type loaf!!

Thank you

This is really nice if left wrapped till the next day and served buttered, dont know if this is a recipe you have used before, its really easy.

1mug mixed fruit
1 Mug sugar(I usually do half and half dark brown and gran)
1 mug all-bran
Soak for a min of 2hrs (I usually do overnight) with one mug of whole milk
Then add 1 mug of SR flour mix well
1hour at 180 deg

really good!!!!!!!

This cherry and almond loaf is fab!

200g glacé cherries (natural coloured if possible)
250g self-raising flour
225g butter, softened
175g caster sugar
3 large eggs, beaten
2–3 drops almond essence
100g ground almonds
6 tablespoons milk
23 x 13 x 7cm loaf tin, lined and buttered

Preheat the oven to 170ºC/gas mark 3. Halve the cherries, wash them in a colander under cold water, then pat them dry, toss them in some flour and shake well to get rid of excess.
2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add the beaten eggs and almond essence, then gently fold in the flour and ground almonds. Fold in the cherries and then the milk and spoon the thick mixture into the loaf tin and bake for 3/4–1 hour, or until a cake-tester comes out clean.
3. Leave in the tin on a wire rack until completely cooled.
