Murphy is back @ vets for Xrays tomorrow

Murphy was due to be back at the vets for xrays on Wednesday, following 3 weeks of limping on his back right leg but we've had to bring the xray forward as he was walking back into the house from the garden last night and all of a sudden he started what I suppose is the dog version of screaming in pain - it was heartbreaking (even had neighbours knock on the door asking if al was ok ), he had obviously done something more to his already bad leg, he then laid down on the grass and didnt get up for about 5 mins but once he had he seemed ok within himself, was able to walk but really limping on the leg but he seemed fairly happy and even rolled over on his back for a belly rub at one point - spoke to the emergency vet and we agreed not to stress him out by taking him to the vet and he had already had his daily dose of Rimadyl 30 mins beforehand and to rest Murphy (although we've been doing that for the last 3 weeks, well the last 14 months to be precise ) but I spoke with out normal vet this morning and we agreed that it was not like Murphy to yell out like that so we've brought the xray forward to tomorrow morning - please keep all fingers and paws crossed that the findings from the xray are not too sinister

Oh Murphy He has been so stoical through everything - poor man must have been in such pain to cry

Hoping very hard that the x-rays show nothing seriously amiss.

All good wishes Murphy.
