Thank you Jen! I keep forgetting that my new camera has a flip up flash thingy - it also has no viewfinder, which my previous one did. I was also experimenting with the zoom although I still have the main setting on Auto. I just do not take many photographs so have no idea what the camera can and cannot do. Same with my previous one [which still works although I thought it was dead which is why I bought a new one!

I just struck lucky last night - I took ten photos in the hope of getting one decent one, and they all came out reasonable well in spite of not using the flash - at least for a camera numpty like me, and once lightened they were not too bad.

Another one for you Jen:

Just ran all round looking for her! She has actually moved onto one of the beds now and pulled her blankie up! Quite dark under there and I didn't spot her at first!

Crap photo but I had to 'punch it' that much to be able to see her at all - here she is bless her - looking all worried!

Malka you are pampering me and making me want to come over and cuddle her Pereg is just my kind of dog. That's a good photo, I don't think it will take you too long to get to grips with you camera.

I used to have those moments with Scooby, Pat, then I'd find him down the side of the toilet! At least Bella is being sensible now and snuggling in to her bed.
