oh my goodness they are gorgeous! i had 2 hooded rats about 18 years ago. well, i actually bought one from a pet shop and she gave me 10 babies not long after. go pet shop, you really knew your stuff...

i did keep one of the babies, scooby, and i could take her anywhere. she used to sleep under the duvet too.

it's made me all wistful looking at this thread!
