Ocd

Anyone have any advice on this.
Quick history was in a home till 9 months were was badly abused then a couple who couldnt have kids re-homed him and treat him like there baby and he ruled the house with an iron rod. They fell pregnant and he got jealous couldnt cope so put into rescue.
He has aggression over things he steals but has improved loads in 48 hours of coming to my boot camp LOL

But the problem I have not experienced is this type of OCD.
he licks quite obsessively and chases shadows.
Anyone got any help as this is a new one for me

Thanks

Humm....depends when he is doing it....

I would look at maybe feeding all food from kongs/treat balls doing lots of settling exercises - relaxed down/chill out games etc.
The destraction/re-focusing tecniques - like watch me.

Good luck - how long have you got him for? What is he?

Only 2 days he is a 3 yr 9 month old springer called Dash

He was an only dog so maybe thought it was a boredom as some shadows he is missing as quite loving the company of my dogs.
When he does it am squeezing a squeaky toy and going out of the room so he follows,
