Buttons's first trip into the show ring....

Well today I took Buttons to our local horse show.the Greyhound trust run a fun dog show.It was absolutely chucking it down and Buttons was looking very bedraggled and my daughter could just not resist taking him into the ring for the Scruffiest dog class.He was pulled out into the final 8 but there were indeed far more worthy winners.

I then chose to pop him in to the most handsome male.He was again pulled into the final 8 out of about 30 dogs and was placed third! he was very pleased with his dashing yellow rosette and his big bag of dog chews!

I was even more impressed with the calm and chilled way he handled it all. We had gone to give him socialisation around other dogs and he was amazing.I just want to say a big thank you once more to Sharon his breeder for such a wonderful pup.He did you proud.......

aww what a clever boy and I love the photo, he looks so happy and the yellow rosette suits him!

Good job I wasn't a judge as I would of been biased with Buttons and he would of won...lol!
