Why on earth are you asking people to sign a petition which was put up on July 10th 2012 and to date some 4 years later has only manage to get 143 signatures?

One friend lost a dog when it ate poisoned bait put down by a gamekeeper, shall we have a petition to stop owners walking dogs.

Another friend had a Lab which jumped into a pond and cut its stomach open on barbed wire, shall we start a petition to stop dogs running free.

I used to show dogs, some of those who stayed behind made a big fuss because they knew others were going and they were not . They loved the whole outing.

The most laughable thing here is this thread was started by someone who advocates torturing dogs with the use of e collar the device used by those who haven't the necessary experience and expertise to train a dog using positive reward based training.

Well if your gamekeepers are putting down poison that will indiscriminately kill animals, I am really glad to be living in the civilized USA where forest and fish and wildlife rangers do not do such ignorant things. I really think that you might want to check your source of this info.

As for labs, jumping into water this way, this is the owner of the labs fault, because this is not natural dog behavior, it's what foolish people teach their dogs to do so that they can be the jumping champion. German Shorthairs that routinely swim know that the bottom is usually covered with tree limbs and the like, at any rate an owner should not allow their dog to do this ever.

It is true that at least at agility contest these dogs are out of their crates and since any exercise is better than none the dogs are better off. So you ever seen an English Pointer do agility, this dog is really impressive
And for shock collars, I have never used one on my dogs, but the beepers and vibrators work well, how about yours?
