He could be marking her as his 'possession'.

I don't know the answer to why but I do know that a couple of weeks ago, when I was sitting at the front desk at the Vet, a lady came out of the treatment room with her large Cypriot Poodle, it walked straight over to me and peed all over my legs and feet! I had my little min pin sitting on my lap at the time, discussing her rabies jabs.

The vet receptionist was very apologetic and got stuff to clean my shoes and feet up a bit - the owner just looked and carried on walking to the door!

Got nothing to do with whether an owner looks after the dog well or not.

I have had several dogs on my courses who cocked their leg on their owner, other things and without exception, none had any respect for their owner.

What have the owners done for the dogs not to respect them?
