Well, the quote from the plumber has been received and after a lot of grumbling 'how much' from the OH has been accepted. Now we just need the window guy to quote and give us a timescale on when he can come to do the job.

Gary has had a good day and has been out in the complex for 12 hours straight today so I'm guessing he's liking it there. This is a lad that we've had to pry out of his flat to go out with us. He's eating well - both breakfast and dinner in the cafe and again his lack of eating was a major issue before the move. Fingers and everything else crossed everyone please that this keeps up

We've a meeting with Gary's social worker tomorrow at his flat. I hate these meetings, but I suppose they are a necessity

Moyra, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. You need a restful life and your lad seems to need a dose of reality. However you resolve it, it does seem to need resolving

Chris...I am bouncing for you!!! Don't dread the meeting ( although I get SS are involved....) Gary is happy at the moment and settled...as are you, I bet you anything it's a "how are things meeting" .... well, fingers crossed!
