I have signed the petition but I cant bring myself to watch the video. I have seen a bit of a programme before about this in China, and the images still haunt me today - and I could'nt watch all of it as was crying and felt sick.

Well done Malady for posting this link, because without campaigns and petitions we will never be able to - hopefully one day put a stop to this sick, disgusting trade.

Didnt watch the video either, seen plenty of things like this in my time and i've no need to see such things again. I've still got a vivid image from my teenage years of a white cat being put into a pit of boiling water in China to strip it of fur for the meat trade.

That is one of the most disturbing video's i have ever watched along with the japanese video of slaughtering dolphins. I feel physically sick, Those poor animals!!!

I somehow managed to watch that video... absolutely horrific.

I'm ashamed to say I didn't realise they were skinned alive. Sufficed to say I wouldn't wear real fur anyway but was always a little indifferent to those who wore it because I never dreamed the animals suffering in this kind of way. I always thought (rather naively as it turns out) that the pelts were taken after they were killed for meat. I'm absolutely horrified by the torture these animals suffer - I can't ever imagine being able to do that to an animal but in a country where people suffer so much and it's the culture of the people I guess it's very different.

I've signed the petition but having recently signed a petition against the persecution of the falun gong people I'm not so sure this will be taken too seriously
