Is it possible for you to give him a treat to chew on or something to take his mind off it while you administer the drops?

We had to administer eye drops to Fudge not long ago. It did indeed take a few of us. One to hold her, one to reveal the inner lid and one to squeeze the drops. This was always followed by games praise and treats. After a few days she was sitting voluntarily having it done calmly and then enjoyed her well deserved rewards.....Good luck.
