Sending lots of (((hugs))) to Amber. If you really are that worried about her and think she is too uncomfortable to wait until the morning then phone the vet back and say you would like her seen today.
If she was fine yesterday and it went like that suddenly, I would say she has injured it somehow, but if over the past few months she has been getting stiffer and stiffer then it is probably arthiritis and waiting till the morning won't make it any worse.
Shady and Milo send her lots of slobbers and some for you too for being such a lovely caring mummy.

It's awful seeing them in pain, isn't it? Wish dogs could talk. Hope the vet can make her more comfortable soon.
