Hi,
I have owned Siberian Husky dogs for over 9 years, although have only bred from them for the first time two years ago.
I grew up with a selection of dogs from mongrels to pedigree Shetland Sheepdogs.
I love to hear about other breeds and stories from owners so this site looks great. I also sometimes feel I would like to ask more but am never sure who to ask so my questions, not too dumb to those more experienced I hope, should not be too out of place here with like minded people.
I believe in an ethical (I know this word is a grey area but I mean in the most honest way) approach to owning dogs and that any dog needing help, whether one of mine or not, should get it from whoever is nearest and in a positions to help, whether with support, help or fostering.
I just like to see happy and healthy dogs and for me this is the thing that makes a good owner.

We have lots of people here with great experience who can give you good advice, ranging from breeders, exhibitors, trainers and lots of other dog-owners
