It did work, though as a link rather than an embedded photo.

What a gorgeous boy

I guess 'sausage' is putting it mildly How old is he?

I'm afraid I'm not really sure using flicker - I think its something to do with what you put in square brackets before/after the link.

hopefully someone else will know.

Thanks Hali - owing to a knackered old computer I don't seem to be able to get on with Photobucket but these pics were already on Flickr so I thought I'd try it.

Merl's 3 and a bit. Neutered at 18 mths. Long story but after abuse from local teen gangs here over the last year he (and me) are in sore need of therapy. But that's a post for another part of Dogsey. Seriously thinking of moving to somewhere quieter... losing him would be like losing a limb but I'm realistic enough to know that sometimes these things can't be helped...

He is a honey, really, if he trusts you... very friendly and has groups of little girls locally who run up to him and fling their arms round his neck... his Fan Club! But like any dog that's part BC... whatever he does, he does intensely, four feet in, for or against.

It includes loving people he meets like the little girls and many others... to these he is intensely loyal and very social, but he can't cope with the shouty abusive teens and those who have threated me... His Belgian side gets protective and his BC side tells him protect intensely.

He's been a learning curve to say the least... and if I'd known how nasty the local gangs were before I got him, I'd not have... but TBH that's blown up since. Just goes to show no matter how clued up you are and willing and able to to do all the right things for a dog... and how much you have worked... something can still come in from leftfield and ruin everything

Thank you!

Have to point out is IS a cross... Daddy was a black Belgian Groenedael and Mummy was a black-&-white farm-bred Border Collie with one blue eye!

One hell of a mix, in other words LOL
One of his litter sisters was in rescue by 6 mths old
