Bitsy

Even if I go and buy an ordinary Kong, I'm still interested in the one you talked aboout, so if you find out where you got it from, I'll be buying it!

Would it be possible to take Luna for a big run before you left for the day and tire her out so she will want to sleep.

Carole:
No its not that big, but they do have the normal kongs, I just haven't seen one where you could unscrew it as you mentioned.

Bon:
I've been told quite the opposite. That I should only give her a short walk - no play - just to let her relieve (sp?) herself by a danish forum.

If that would do it, I surely would even though I already get up at 5.10 in the morning.

Sorry Bitsy

Of course I meant the Kong that YOU mentioned and not Carole.
I was still steaming after a not so pleasant experience on my shopping for dogfood.

Jeanette I have always found that a tired dog is a good dog, if they are worn out they stay out of trouble. If I have to go out for appointments I always take Zoi out for a run first, it tires her out and she does not get into trouble. Just give her some hard exercise for 15 minutes and I think it would help.

Hi Bon

See this is also what I thought untill I was told otherwise. But it will actually only help me because soon its going to be too hot to go for long walks when I come home from work, so if I could give her a semi long walk morning and evening, then the one in the afternoon could be a bit shorter.

With hard work do you mean brainwise or musclewise? - sorry don't know how to write it in any other words

She will somehow tire out mentally when left because she will use a little time getting her food out of a small hole in her Funny Bone, but I don't know if its enough.

Good morning Bon

Sure you can ask. If I remember correctly he wrote on his homepage that he is an animalbehavourist. He is danish. He suggested that I get cardboardboxes close them up and put treats in them and place them in the room I'm in and every time she went for one, I should say no. That should make her think it was forbidden and then she should "only" go for these when home alone!!! Hmm.

Well I could never make that work if I tried, cause Luna has always had cardboardboxes to destroy when desired.

I did try it one day, but it was only the kitten (I don't have him anymore, but that's a different story) and Oliver who went for the boxes.
